Lady's First Group ("Lady's First," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit ladysfirstgroup.com or apply for funding through us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Lady's First Group is a funding facilitation service that helps women-owned businesses — including the many that traditional banks turn away — access the capital they need through a network of funding partners. We are not a bank.

By using our website or submitting an application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. How We Use Your Information

  • To evaluate your funding request and match it with appropriate funding partners;
  • To verify your identity and the information you provide;
  • To contact you about your application, request additional documentation, and provide customer service;
  • To send you updates and information about our services (you can opt out at any time);
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services;
  • To comply with applicable laws and to detect, prevent, or address fraud and misuse.

2. Credit Inquiries

We do not obtain a credit inquiry to pre-qualify your request. A credit inquiry — which may affect your score — is performed only if you choose to move forward and expressly authorize it as part of accepting an offer.

3. Communications & Your Choices

If you apply or opt in, we may contact you by email, phone, or text message about your request and our services. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to hello@ladysfirstgroup.com, and you can stop text messages by replying STOP. We may still send transactional messages related to an active application.

Mobile information and text-messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share the mobile phone number you provide, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional use. We use that information only to send the messages you requested, and we share it only with the service providers that help us deliver those messages (such as our SMS provider). Any sharing of an application with funding partners described elsewhere in this policy is for the funding you requested only — it never includes sharing your mobile number or messaging consent for anyone's marketing. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended if you do.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including SSL/TLS encryption in transit — designed to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the changes on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

12. Applicant Consent & Authorization

When you submit a funding application, you review and agree to the consent and authorization language reproduced in full below. We publish it here so that it is always available to you, word for word, exactly as it appears on the application you sign.

By signing below, each of the above-listed business and business owners (individually and collectively, “Applicant”) certify that all information provided in the application is true and accurate. Applicant shall immediately notify Lady’s First Group (“Lady’s First Group”) of any change in such information. Applicant agrees to receive autodialed and/or pre-recorded calls and text (SMS) messages from Lady’s First Group, its affiliates, and its third-party funding partners at the telephone number(s) provided in this application. Applicant authorizes Lady’s First Group to share this application and such other information as obtained hereunder with each of their representatives, successors, assigns, designees, and third-party funding partners, which includes lenders and other finance providers with whom Lady’s First Group have, or may in the future enter into, commercial-brokerage-financing relationships (collectively, “Recipients”). Further, Applicant authorizes Recipients: (i) to request and receive any consumer, business, and/or investigative reports about or of Applicant, from one or more consumer reporting agencies, including but not limited to TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax; (ii) to request and receive such other information from third parties in connection with underwriting Applicant, including but not limited to credit card processor statements and bank statements; and (iii) to transmit this form, along with any of the foregoing information obtained in connection with this application, to any Recipient and/or third party as provided by law.

Text Message (SMS) Consent

If you opt in to text messages, you agree to the following: “By checking this box, I consent to receive SMS messages from Lady’s First Group related to marketing and promotional offers. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy.”

Consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is not a condition of applying for or receiving funding. You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for assistance. We may still send transactional messages about an active application. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary.

Terms Acknowledgment

When you submit the application, you also acknowledge: “By clicking the submit button, I agree to terms & conditions” and “By checking this box, I confirm that I have read and agree to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.”
